Making a sub-brand for a powerful communications company

Introduction

BAM is a communications agency that focuses on PR, media relations, marketing, and human comms. They were looking to create a sub-brand for a weekly LinkedIn newsletter. I designed a logo and social media templates that maintained their characteristic clean and clever brand design.

REQUIREMENTS

Since BAM’s identity consists of a typography logo, the use of icons was ruled out. Additionally, the color palette had to match BAM’s, which consists of light green, blue, red, white, and black. Finally, the canvas was restricted to a square by LinkedIn guidelines. The whole design process took nine days.

SOCIAL MEDIA APPLICATION

With the new logo and BAM brand elements, I created templates for the cover of the newsletter publications. The primary focus was to highlight the interviewee, including a brief bio, amount raised, and photo.
